Allard’s Lounge opened its doors in the summer of 2011. Our ethos was to be a small and cosy café, serving fresh tapas and a wide variety of wines, it soon became clear that we would grow to be so much more. With a prime position on the lively Tynemouth front street a stone’s throw from our award-winning beaches and famous Tynemouth Priory, we have grown our little café into something quite special.

We opened our sister venue, Allard’s on the Quay in November 2018 and since have become one of the North Shields Fish Quay’s most popular locations for people who love good food and drink.

We are now in the process of finishing our next venue in Monkseaton and are looking for a some talented people to join our team in a variety of roles (detailed below).

We pride ourselves on delivering a memorable experience to each person that walks through our door and ask that you have proven experience providing excellent customer service. You will be able to work well as part of the team but show that you are able to use your own initiative when needed. You will be enthusiastic about the products we offer our loyal customers and dedicated to the role you play in house. You will be personable, and well presented. As we are open 7 days a week, serving food from 9am flexibility is key. Due to the nature of the role, please note we can only accept candidates that are ages 18 or older.
